Frequently Asked Questions
What is a 15-minute consultation?
The consultation is a brief phone or video call to determine whether we are a good fit and to answer initial questions. It is not a therapy session.
Do you accept insurance?
I am private pay only. I provide superbills for clients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider.
Why private pay?
Working outside of insurance allows therapy to remain confidential, individualized, and free from diagnostic or session limitations imposed by third parties. It allows us to focus on depth, long-term growth, and meaningful change rather than symptom-only treatment.
How long are therapy sessions?
Ongoing therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions. Frequency may adjust based on your goals and needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to the full session fee.
Do you provide crisis services?
I do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, go to your nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
